Day after twin drone incidents, blasts were heard and smoke was seen rising in central Dubai on Friday. The Dubai administration confirmed that an aerial attack had successfully been intercepted and that the debris caused minor damage to the facade of a building. However, it did not clarify if it was a missile or a drone that had been intercepted.
United Arab Emirates on Thursday intercepted 10 ballistic missiles and 26 drones amid Iran's sustained attacks on US facilities in the region, while a drone also fell in Dubai's Al Badaa area and also on a building facade on Sheikh Zayed Road.
