Mumbai goes toll free at all five major entry points for LMVs

Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde on Monday announced that light motor vehicles would be granted complete toll exemption at all five toll booths leading into Mumbai.
Maharashtra minister Dadaji Dagadu Bhuse said, "At the time of entry into Mumbai, there were 5 toll plazas, including Dahisar toll, Anand Nagar toll, Vashi, Airoli and Mulund
The toll waiver is expected to bring relief to people travelling in and out of Mumbai ahead of Diwali. Commuters, who complained of long waiting times, will now be able to travel without paying tolls at any of the five booths.
