What began as a disappointing night on the field nearly turned into a far more alarming ordeal for the Gujarat Titans (GT).

The night went from bad to worse for the Shubman Gill-led GT when their team bus suffered a short circuit while returning from the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday night, leaving the players stranded on the road for nearly an hour.

The players and support staff were evacuated immediately, and everyone is safe.
GT had already endured a tough evening after suffering a five-wicket defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL final at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
